The Office of the Advocate for Children and Young People together with the NSW Children’s Week Council is inviting entries for the NSW Children’s Week 2020 Art Competition.
The competition is open to all children and young people up to the age of 18 living in NSW. It’s not about being a good artist, it’s about finding inspiration and sharing your voice through art.
Note: Your artwork must be your original work and needs to be created specifically for the NSW Children’s Week 2020 Art Competition.
If you have any questions or require assistance completing the entry form, please contact our office on (02) 9248 0970.
Nine winners (three winners for each age group: Under 5, 6-11, 12-18) will receive an award and prize. First prize $200 gift card / Second prize $100 gift card / Third prize $50 gift card.
Children’s Week runs from 24 October to 1 November 2020. The Children’s Week National Theme for 2020 is the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Article 15: Children have the right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others.
The winning entries will be decided by the A/Advocate for Children and Young People together with the NSW Youth Advisory Council and Chair of the NSW Children’s Week Council. Winners will be notified in late October 2020. Selected entries will be showcased on the Digital Lunchbreak website.
